I know why most kids' nights, kids eat free (or cheap) specials are on Tuesdays ... but that doesn't mean I like it. Tuesdays are generally the slowest night of the week for restaurants. I get that. Ahh, the Big Apple. There's nothing quite like it. If you're traveling with children to our nation's largest city, you may be surprised to find there are a number of kid-friendly restaurants. You may also be surprised that many of them offer Kids Eat Free deals. Here's a rundown of a few spots we found in New York City. Let us know if you have a favorite! We'll add it to the list. Kelley and Ping offers a kids eat free deal 5:30-7 p.m. every day for children under 8. This SoHo restaurant specializes in Asian-inspired dishes prepared fresh in an open kitchen. The kids' menu includes chicken soup with noodles, a Thai salad with lots of fresh veggies and peanut sauce for dipping.
